Maria Murad

Maria is majoring in Environmental Anthropology with minors in Ancient History and Music. These interests help her analyze climate change from cultural, historical, and biological perspectives. Her research interests include environmental apathy of everyday citizens and industry, the environmental and cultural effects of socialism, and using photography and other digital media as a medium to reach new audiences. She’s excited to join the Climate Finance team as she believes big environmental change will only occur through economic reform. As a student at a global, economic powerhouse like Penn, she wants to critique and analyze our school’s role in climate change.
